How do I resize without stretching the picture?
Leave Keep proportions selected, then change either Width or Height. The other dimension updates to keep the original shape.
What do the percentage presets change?
They change the pixel dimensions relative to the original image. A 50% preset halves both width and height; it does not promise a 50% reduction in file size.
Can enlarging a photo recover missing detail?
No. Enlarging changes the dimensions but cannot restore detail that was not in the original. Check the result at the size you plan to use.
How do I return to the original dimensions?
Choose 100% · original. Your original file stays unchanged; download the result to save a separate resized copy.
