What we collect

Using a tool does not require your name, email address or payment details. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies either way, which is why you have not been shown a consent banner. Every current tool works without an account.

If you sign in

Signing in with Google shares your name, email address, profile image and Google account identifier. We store these with your saved tools and account settings. We ask Google for nothing else. Not your contacts, not your files, not your calendar.

Two cookies come with that, and only that. One holds your session. The other holds your first name, so the page can put it in the corner without asking us who you are on every visit. Neither is used for tracking, neither is shared, and signing out deletes both. There is nothing to pay for here, so there are no payment details to store.

Signing in does not change how any tool works. Your files are still never transmitted, and a transcript is still never sent anywhere, whether you are signed in or not.

Your files

Your files are never transmitted. Every tool on this site runs inside your browser, so no copy of your file reaches any server of ours, not even briefly. There is nothing for us to store, share, lose or hand over.

Speech recognition and text-from-image tools download extra software and language models when needed. These requests fetch the tools, not your recording or image. Your browser may cache the downloads; clearing its storage or changing the language or model can require another download.

Server logs

The pages themselves are served by Cloudflare Pages, and Cloudflare keeps ordinary request logs including IP addresses, as any web host does. That covers which page you asked for, never the contents of a file you convert, because the file never goes anywhere near it.

Fonts and most tool libraries are served from this site. Speech recognition and text recognition may request models or software from external providers. Choosing Google sign-in contacts Google. These requests do not include the files you select for conversion.

Saved tools

Saving and viewing saved tools requires an account. Your saved list is stored with your account so it is available on another device. Saving a tool does not save files, pasted text or results.

The one thing we count

When you leave a tool page, your browser sends us one small message: the name of the tool, and up to five of the words open, start, done, save, fail and blocked. That is the entire contents. Nothing about your file, its name, its size or its type is in it, and neither is the text of any error message.

Alongside it we count three things about the visit rather than about you: the country the connection comes from, the language your browser asked for, and whether the screen is a phone, a tablet or a desktop. Your browser sends nothing extra for these. The country comes from our host's own geolocation and the other two from headers every request already carries, and all three are counted and then thrown away.

Your IP address is not stored. It reaches our host, as it must for a page to be delivered to you at all, and it is never written into anything of ours. We keep the two letter country code, which is what tells us whether the next thing to build is a Hindi translation or a better phone layout, and that is all it can tell us.

What we keep is a count, not a record. Every one of these adds one to a number in a table of day, bucket and word. There is no row for you, no session, no identifier of any kind, and no time more precise than the date. A copy of those tables cannot be turned back into a person or a visit, because none of that was ever collected, rather than collected and then protected.

It exists so we can see which tools people actually use and where they give up. A tool that is opened a thousand times and finished forty has something wrong with it, and that gap is the only way to find it without watching anybody. If your browser sends Do Not Track, nothing is sent at all.

Feedback you send

The feedback button opens a draft in your email app. If you send it, we receive your email address, your message and the page link. The report does not attach your files.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may request access to or deletion of personal data. If you have never signed in, there is nothing to return or erase. If you have, your account page lists everything we hold and deletes all of it on request, immediately and without asking why.
