Good to know
Do spaces count as characters?
Yes. The character total includes spaces, punctuation and line breaks. Words are separated by whitespace. Emoji and some accented characters can count as more than one character.
Can I count text without changing it?
Yes. The counters update as you type or paste. Copy text and Download text save the text you entered.
Can I recover text after clearing it?
Use Undo clear immediately after Clear. Starting new input or loading the example replaces that undo opportunity.
