How do I get a clearer result?
Choose the language in the picture, then use a sharp, straight-on image of printed text. Crop out unrelated areas when possible.
Can I correct the recognised text?
Yes. Edit the result before copying or downloading it. The confidence score is a guide, not a guarantee that every word is correct.
Why is the first run slower?
Text recognition may download extra software and the selected language model. Your browser may reuse these downloads on later visits.
Does it work with handwriting?
This tool is intended for printed text. Handwriting, decorative lettering and blurry images may give poor results.
